The Academic and Examination Board is an appointed committee that is set up to provide strategic leadership, academic guidelines and partnership. It is the principal academic body within the institution which is responsible for approving academic proposals and for providing advice on academic policy, academic strategy and academic standards. Its purpose is to provide advice on academic policy; approve courses and programs; further and co-ordinate the work of the Faculties and other academic units; and support teaching, scholarship and research. PROFESSOR MALICK SY, – PH.D, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION(FINANCE), CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF LOUVAIN, BELGIUM
Professor Malick Sy has more than 25 years of experience in financial consulting and advisory to many financial institutions in Europe, Asia and Australia. He is a professor in Financial Management at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University-Australia, a visiting Professor at the City University of New York (USA) and adjunct professor of Arcadia University, Pennsylvania (USA).
He is currently the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of a financial consulting firm with offices in South East Asia. He has been a Director with the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and has been member of the Singapore Exchange Corporate Advisory Committee in Derivatives (SGX-DT)
MR SAMUEL TEO, MBA, EXECUTIVE MASTER OF FINANCE, CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK
Mr Samuel Teo is the General Manager of Aventis School of Management with over 15 years of experience in the Private Education Sector. As a strong advocate of private education, he is a firm believer of lifelong learning after having completed his Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM UK), Master of Management, MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM, Australia) and Executive Master of Science in Finance from the City University of New York(USA) over the past decade.
MR STANLEY SOH, MBA – ARCADIA UNIVERSITY, USA
Prior to his current position as Academic Director, Mr Stanley had assumed previous teaching roles as a University lecturer, focusing on business undergraduate and postgraduate reaching at several UK & US universities. With roles such as Head of Training Academy, Head of Academics, MBA Director, and Academic Liaison Officer, his research and teaching interests lie in Asian Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership and Change, International Business & Economics and Small & Medium Enterprises’ international expansion and growth strategy.
He was the Chief Editor of the ‘Selected Papers from the 2015 Asia Conference on Economics and Business Research’.
Mr Stanley graduated with top honours as MBA Valedictorian with an almost perfect GPA (GPA 3.97/4.00) and was on the Graduate Dean Honours List for 2 consecutive years. Besides his certification as a Professional trainer, he also holds a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Arcadia University (USA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from University of Melbourne (Australia) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Western Sydney (Australia).
