This module provides students with knowledge of the role that sustainability plays in managing a business, how reporting assists in managing sustainability, and gain an introduction to elements of a good sustainability report using the GRI’s five step process:

Sustainable sourcing is the integration of social, ethical, and environmental performance factors into the process of selecting suppliers. As supply chains expand globally into developing countries for lower costs and larger production capacity, they get exposed to increased risks and heighten the expectations of their stakeholders. 

Understanding Green Financing, Risk, Profit
and Purpose

Sustainable finance is the practice of integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into financial services to bring about sustainable development outcomes, including mitigating and adapting to the adverse effects of climate change. Investment decisions used to be traditionally made solely on financial measures. 

Corporate Sustainability Management

In this module, you will learn how to set up and implement corporate sustainability. This includes identifying your organisation’s current stage in your sustainability journey as well as developing a focused ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) strategy, ambitions, targets, and a step-by-step implementation roadmap. The course will also present current sustainability issues relevant to different industries and organisations.

Classes are conducted over weekend block (Saturday and Sunday) to cater to the needs of busy working professionals, balancing between work, study and lifestyle.

• Lead trainer in sustainability reporting, supporting organisations in developing credible, compliant, and impact-driven sustainability reports.

MBA, National University of Singapore

• Founder and Principal Consultant of SustainableSG, specialising in ESG, business sustainability, strategy, risk management, and entrepreneurship.
• Principal consultant to commercial, government, and non-profit organisations, with engagements spanning corporate carbon footprint measurement, circular economy business model development, and sustainability risk assessment.

Students who have successfully completed and passed their assessments will be awarded with the Graduate Diploma in Business Sustainability & Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) by Aventis Graduate School.

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will also be eligible to apply to our 12-Month Part-Time MBA programme by University of Roehampton.
