These Centers of Excellence whilst funded by Aventis, enjoy significant autonomy both in pursuing their research goals and strategic directions. Each Centre of Excellence has its own Governing Board and research funding.

These Centres of excellence serve as a meeting of the minds for the faculty, students, and members of the business community, who come together to share and debate key business challenges and future trends.. Drawn from the best in research and industries across the world, these Centres aims to develop real-world, real-time knowledge and innovations that transform global business practice and policy. SUN TZU ART OF WAR INSTITUE (STI)



Aventis supports the research and adoption of ancient Chinese strategies by world leaders and business communities to promote business excellence, ideas interchange and economic cooperation. The Sun Tzu Art of War Institute (STI) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental International Think Tank based in Singapore with the mission to promote leadership and strategic thinking using Ancient Chinese strategies.

STI aspires to be a premier Research-driven Institute in Asia by bringing together a team of highly respected researchers and professors from across the region. Under the support of Aventis Leadership Centre, Aventis School of Management, STI aims to enhance the competitiveness, leadership and strategic capabilities of organizations through the interchange of ideas knowledge and leadership development.
