Student Protection Scheme

To protect the interest and welfare of international students, Aventis School of Management has in place a Student Protection Scheme (SPS) as stipulated by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) by way of a Student Tuition Fee Account (Insurance). Through subscription to this scheme, students can rest assured that their financial interests will be fully safe-guarded by a team of fair and impartial third party banks and insurers.

Aventis is a strong proponent of complete transparency. This extends to our clear and concise fee structure, all components of which are fully made known to every applicant prior to their registration by our Education consultant. Our processes and redress policy are both clear and structured. This ensures that any queries or issues arising from applicants and students will be promptly addressed by our program consultants in a timely manner.

Student Tuition Fee Account (Insurance)

Our Student Tuition Fee Insurance Scheme with NTUC Income indemnifies students for their tuition fees paid in advance under these circumstances

• in the event that the PEO is not able to continue its operations due to insolvency and /or regulatory closure
• if the PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the students arising from judgements made by the Singapore courts and in the event upon death or total permanent disability of the student

Refund Policies – Fee-paying local and international Students

Local and international students must pay their fees due as laid out in the respective Student Contracts and by the date(s) stipulated in the offer letter(s) and payment reminder(s). The complete Refund policies relating to both Withdrawal for Cause and Withdrawal without Cause are governed by the Student Contract entered into between the Centre and the student.

Tuition Fee Refund Policy

Tuition fees paid before or after commencement of the Programme are refundable subject to the following: -

• 100% refund of tuition fees if the applicant’s written notice of withdrawal is received AT LEAST TWO (2) WEEKS before the program commencement date.
• 50% refund of tuition fees if the applicant’s written notice of withdrawal is received ONE (1) WEEK before the program commencement date.
• There is strictly no refund of tuition fees paid if the applicant’s written notice of withdrawal is received LESS THAN ONE (1) WEEK before the program commencement date.
