The Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology decodes the mysteries behind the human mind from a scientific yet practical perspective. Learn to apply psychology to real life issues and enrich both your professional and personal relationships. The Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology provides 3 areas of specializations including Business Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Child Psychology. You will also be equip with the skills to present professional research findings, as well as plan, manage and undertake independent, self-directed learning individually and as part of a team.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The Diploma course comprises of 4 core units plus 4 elective units which can be completed over duration of 10 months. Lessons are conducted in the evening and on weekends to cater to the needs of working professionals and executives.

ASSESSMENT

All modules will be assessed through a combination of coursework and examination depending on individual module\'s objectives. The proportion of marks attributed to coursework and final examinations is at the discrete of individual lecturers and varies according to modules.

AWARDS AND

Students who have successfully passed all examinations and completed all assignments will be awarded with a Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology by Aventis School of Management . Graduates from this program may use the initials "Spec Dip Psy" after their names.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

• Professional Certificates from recognized institutions
• Mature Candidates with at least 2 years working experience

EDUCATION PATHWAY

Upon completion of the Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology, students can gain direct entry into the Advanced Diploma in Applied Psychology program.

Fees are due and payable in 2 installments listed below: The entire course fee covers course notes, assignments, examinations, certificate on completion and transcript.
