ABOUT MR MARK POWELL
With a history of over 20 years of management and board level experience with corporations of all sizes across Asia Pacific, Mr Powell has a deep understanding of the ongoing issues facing executives in developing and executing their career goals. He developed new businesses from scratch and has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
Over the past 10 years, Mr Mark Powell has worked across Asia Pacific in Banking & Financial Services Executive Search. Mr Powell has executed many senior placements for global banking, financial services and consulting firms across Asia Pacific. Mr Powell was ranked in the top 5 funds management headhunters in the 2004 Asiamoney poll and again personally rated in 2 categories in the 2005 headhunters poll – funds management and financial services middle and back office. He has been involved in over 100 senior placements for global banking, financial services and consulting companies across Asia Pacific. He has interviewed thousands of senior executives. He also has 12 years of corporate experience with large international companies: Citibank, Macquarie Bank and Shell. He ran the SME capital markets division at Macquarie Bank and was head of Product Management for Citibank's Business banking Division in Australia.
Mr Powell has an undergraduate degree in Economics (Qld Uni) and post graduate qualifications in Education (Qld Uni), Business Administration (QUT) and Applied Finance (SIA). He is a Fellow of Securities Institute of Australasia. He is licenced though Management Research Group international (USA and Europe), Hermann International (ASIA) and ChangeWorks Global to use their respective range of psychometric tools and consulting processes. In addition to his extensive search and recruitment experience, Mr Powell's career has seen him focus a number of years with international training companies, applying and developing his skills as a NLP facilitator and in adult learning practices. He is trained as a NLP facilitator and an executive coach through Coach U. Mr Powell is Australian but has lived in Asia for the past 8 years. He now calls Singapore home. ABOUT MR JACK CHUA:
Jack leads, facilitates and consults client organizations in workshops, organization development, team development and executive coaching and strategy. He has certifications or professional competence in many Human Resource and Organization Development related activities such as job analysis, work profiling, teamwork, coaching, cycle time reduction through cross-functional process mapping, career planning, MBTI® Step I and II, CPI 260, Conflict Dynamic Profiling, Voices 360-degree feedback, 360 by Design, Benchmarks, Workplace Big 5 Profiling, competency-based interviewing, performance management, HR audit, and HR planning process.
Jack began his career in the early 1980s and has accumulated experience in the manufacturing, chemical, banking, financial, fast-moving consumer goods, and construction industries. During his career, Jack has held various positions with multi-national firms such as Reuters, Kepner Tregoe, Dow Corning, and Mars Inc, an FMCG multinational company where he led organization-wide developmental efforts across the Asia-Pacific. He had served as a member of a global team at Dow Corning that pursued high-level strategy discussions around the institutionalization of a Performance Management Architecture. He was also a member of a regional Change Transition Management Team in Dow Corning, where his HR expertise was leveraged to support the implementation of SAP, BPR, and change initiatives. Jack is also an adjunct faculty of the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL), an internationally renowned leadership development centre.
Jack holds a degree in management and a M.B.A. in Strategic and International Management. He is proficient in both English and Mandarin. Jack's coaching and consulting expertise include: Leadership Coaching, Transitional Manager Coaching, Life Coaching.

ABOUT MR TAJINDER KUMAR
Mr Tanjnder Kumar has extensive experience in organizations in Financial Services, Medical Devices and Manufacturing in different countries of Asia including leading companies such as Boston Scientific Corporation, Citibank NA as VP, Human Resources and Deutsche Bank as Regional HR Business Partner for Operations & Technology. His responsibilities included shaping up People Strategy for GTO in the region and providing HR support to the fast growing business.
He worked with Citigroup for over six years. First four years as a HR Generalist and then as the Head of HR shared service organization in Singapore. These six years helped Tajinder gather a in-depth experience of business partnering, shaping culture in new teams, developing people strategy, talent strategy, leadership development approaches, learning & development frameworks / interventions, setting up different HR functional models, building performance measures and processes, reward strategies & programs, competency models and assessments.
Tajinder is passionate about helping people realize their dreams & he firmly believes that solutions have to be derived by the person facing the challenge by looking at the bigger picture, analysis of current reality and level of motivation to the goal. Tajinder sees himself as a catalyst & partner in the process. His strength as a coach is his ability to inspire and partner people to take action in the desired direction. His understanding & experience of the kaleidoscopic business environment and work challenges of fast-paced modern day organizations makes him work very well with senior corporate executives He is listed on the SPRING (Singapore) list of approved Consultants
Career Background
Tajinder has worked with Boston Scientific International as Country Human Resources Manager. He worked with Citigroup as Vice President – Human Resources. His last corporate assignment was with Deutsche Bank as Human Resources Director for technology and operations. He is currently working as an independent Human Resources Consultant. Some of the projects undertaken by him are
1. Implementing good Human Resources practices & systems in four healthcare companies which were growing manifold from Venture Capital investments. Worked closely with the four entrepreneurs and Board Members to finalize new Org structure, delegations & hire senior professionals in the company.
2. Launch of L & D best practices in a technology company.
3. Providing end-to-end HR support to a large financial services organization in the launch of Islamic Asset Management business, Conventional Asset Management Company & Wealth Management business in three different countries of Asia.
4. Implementing Talent Management practices for the top 1% talent of a large financial services organization.
