PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

This innovative program is structured around both professional knowledge and real-world practice. The IDFI aims to prepare participants for professional positions with financial institutions, including commercial, investment, and savings banks; brokerage firms; insurance companies; investment advisory services; and finance companies. Students will also be well prepared to enter the finance departments of non-financial corporations, nonprofit institution, and governmental agencies.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The IDFI comprises of 6 core modules and a final project. Students may also choose to graduate with a specialization by completing another 2 modules from an extensive range of topics. Our program is the only International Diploma which focuses in one of the fastest growing industry in Singapore and Asia that emphasizes on skilled oriented and competency-based training and applies a variety of teaching methods besides the traditional lectures in class such in class discussion, case study analysis, presentations, problem solving exercises and projects that emphasize on application and team work.

PROGRAM DELIVERY

This program is delivered on a modular basis to tailor to the needs of busy working professionals. Lessons are conducted on weekday evenings and on a part-time basis to enable participants the flexibility of managing their studies according to their work schedule. The entire program can be completed in 10 months on a part time basis. Each unit is supported with 30 contact hours of face to face lectures on weekdays evening and weekend afternoons.

ASSESSMENT

All modules will be assessed through a combination of coursework and examination depending on individual module\'s objectives. The proportion of marks attributed to coursework and final examinations is at the discrete of individual lecturers and varies according to modules.

AWARDS AND

Students who have successfully passed all examinations and completed all assignments will be awarded with a International Diploma in Finance & Investment by Aventis School of Management. Graduates from this program may use the initials "Int’l Dip Finance" after their names.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

• Professional Certificates from recognized institutions
• Mature Candidates with at least 2 years working experience

EDUCATION PATHWAY

Upon completion of the Specialist Diploma in Applied Psychology, students can gain direct entry into the Advanced Diploma in Applied Psychology program.

Fees are due and payable in 2 installments listed below: The fees will cover course notes, assignments, examinations, certificate on completion and transcript.
