Executive Placement


Treasury Manager

Responsibilities :

  • Management and co-ordination of the Singapore Treasury team and making sure that all relevent Treasury functions such as payments, receipts, loans, foreign exchange, interest rate management and cash flow management are undertaken in an effective and risk-free manner.
  • Loans/Max Liq - Manage the borrowings with our banks to ensure we maximise our liquidity and get correct interest rates
  • Payments - Manage the payment process in order to ensure that payments are made on time and secure and queries relating to payments get sorted
  • Receipts - Ensure all receivables are received and any non-receipts are being chased up
  • Costs - Analyse and minimise costs in all areas such as FX, payments and interests
  • Bank Accounts - Overseeing the daily, monthly and quarterly bank account management, concerning positions, interests and other cost allocation
  • FX Exposure - Monitoring and reporting the FX exposure
  • Signatory - Signing off majority of payments on a daily basis
  • Deadlines - Ensure the team adheres to tight deadlines regarding various treasury cut-off times and reporting of weekly information
  • Objectives - Set and monitor quarterly the individual objectives for all staff that are linked to overall Treasury and Company goals
  • Training - Ensure all team members are trained to do their respective Treasury roles and can cover each other roles when absences occur

Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience within a Treasury department
  • Ideally 1 to 2 years experience of managing a team of minimum 2 people
  • Degree educated or equivalent in a mathematical/financial discipline
  • FX experience – notably basic fundamentals of FX transactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • People management skills
  • Comfortable working accurately to tight deadlines
  • Driven
  • Efficiency focused
