Director Level Based in Singapore

This International Financial Institution has a strong Asian and Emerging Markets agenda with a well established presence in many growth markets. The Strategy Team is an important contributor to its Bank’s strategic and operating agenda. This role involves working effectively as an internal senior Strategy Consultant to the Bank’s senior management on areas such as strategy, organization, M&A, etc.

Responsibilities :

• Face off with the Heads of Business in Financial Markets such as Trading, DCM, ECM, etc
• Drive the Financial Markets strategic agenda by conceptualizing and managing strategy projects
• Identify issues, structure work plans, form hypotheses, design and conduct analyses, conclude, present and help implement change
• Engage constantly with senior management as a matter of course in all assignments

Requirements :

• A background from one of the following management consultancies – McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Booz Allen, AT Kearney
• Financial markets domain experience – familiar with treasury and corporate finance products
• Capacity and drive to work and to communicate effectively with senior product / business heads

Example of a suitable fit:

• Someone who has worked in both management consulting and on the middle-front office environment in financial markets
• A non-strategy or a back office process or operational change / re-engineering profile will not be suitable
