Our client is an international hedge fund with a focus on exchange-traded commodities business. It now wants to further strengthen its franchise and is building up its physical delivery sector.

The person will report directly to the CEO of the hedge fund and will be involved in creating a physical platform for its soft and hard commodities. Other than speaking with business partners which include exchanges and commodity companies on creating a trading and delivery platform, the successful candidate will also leverage on the hedge funds clients to cross sell hedging products and to market the firms trading business.

Requirements

• Must have good management experiences in the commodities (soft/hard) market either from a large company or trading house
• Person must be prepared to be hands-on in leveraging on the hedge fund resources to build up a physical trading platform
• Must be willing to travel internationally to speak with senior appointments

An attractive remuneration package will commensurate with experience and performance.
