PROGRAM OVERVIEW

In a trend sweeping across the world, human resources are now widely regarded as a vital source of competitive advantage and hold a strategic role in the strategy formulation. There is also greater awareness that distinctive competencies are obtained through highly developed employee skills, organizational cultures, management processes and systems.
HR leaders are becoming strategic partners, particularly in the process of strategy formulation, policies formation and human capital development. Widely regarded as the pre-eminent HR and Global Leadership program in Asia, the Executive Master of Science in HR & Global Leadership program is design for professionals who seek to harness the power of human capital, talent management and leadership development.

The program comprises of 10 courses which can be completed within 12 months on an executive delivery model.

5 ADVANCED COURSES

Advanced course focuses on how to measure the critical competencies required in the modern business world using state-of- the-art assessment methods to design and implement measures of important organizational variables and outcomes. Five advanced courses from the following list will be selected by the Department of Psychology, in consultation with International Executive Programs:

  • Cross-Cultural Human Resources (PSY 9786)
  • Motivation (PSY 9786)
  • Teams and Groups Processes in Organizations (PSY 9786)

  • Management of Diversity in Organizations (PSY 9786)
  • Attitudes and Emotions in Organizations (PSY 9786)
  • Organizational Development (PSY 9786)
  • Applied Research Experience Part I and Part II (PSY 99001 & PSY 99002)

CAPSTONE COURSE

  • Organizational Behavior and Theory (PSY 9797)

PROGRAM DELIVERY

Each course will be supported with 38 contact hours of face to face lectures by internationally renowned professors flown in from New York. The classes for each course are usually conducted in this manner over a 9-day period

ADMISSION CRITIERA

Recent intake into the EMSF program includes participants from over 5 countries across ASEAN region, reflecting significant growth of the program across ASEAN. There are 2 admission period into the program annually: March and September. Please contact the program consultant for more information.

  • A recognized undergraduate degree with minimum 3 years of work experience OR.
  • A good diploma from a recognized institution plus minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Mature candidates who have demonstrated exceptional professional or business achievements but who do not meet the above requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Certified true copies of all education certificates and transcripts
  • Application processing fee of S$200 (non-refundable)

Terms and Conditions : All notice of withdrawal must be in writing. A full refund of the course fees paid will be made if notice of withdrawal is received more than 60 days before course commencement. If notice of withdrawal is received between 60 to 30 days before course commencement, 75% of course fees paid will be refunded. No refund will be made after the course has commenced. Course Fee paid will not be refunded in the event of deferment regardless of whether the request made is prior to commencement or after the commencement of the course.
