PROFESSOR LUIS HALL PH.D FINANCE, NEW YORK UNIVERSITY

Dr. Luis J. Hall is an assistant professor in economics and finance at the Department of Economics of Universidad de Alicante in Spain. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. from New York University. Dr. Hall held previous positions in the New York State Banking Department, as external researcher for the World Bank and Inter-American Developing Bank and formerly taught at New York University. He has been a consultant for several banks focusing his research primarily on credit and credit default. His research interests lies in corporate finance, sovereign risk, interest rate, international economics and international financial markets.

PROFESSOR ZHANG YEN MING, Doctor of Education, Harvard University

Dr Zhang Yen Ming is a leading expert in strategic planning with over 20 years experience in consultancy projects as well as teaching. Dr. Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Policy and Leadership Studies (PLS) Academic Group, National Institute of Education (NIE) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He is involved in the Leadership in Education (International) Program, Diploma in Departmental Management (DDM) for heads of department's training, Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and also the Master of Educational Administration (MEA) programs. He has tremendous experience in teaching and coaching of government officials from China and is currently a part of the Editoral Board for Chinese Management Studies Journal. PROFESSOR MALICK SY - PH.D BUSINESS (FINANCE), CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF LOUVAIN, BELGIUM

Professor Malick SY is a professor in Financial Management at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University-Australia, a visiting Professor at the City University of New York (USA) and adjunct professor of Arcadia University, Pennsylvania (USA). Professor Malick is also the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of IBC Holdings Pte Ltd, a financial consulting firm with offices located in South East Asia. As a specialist in corporate consultancy and risk management for more than 25 years, his expertise in these areas is internationally recognized in many financial institutions, such as Europe, Asia and Australia etc. He has been a Director of Risk Management at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and a member of the Singapore Exchange Corporate Advisory Committee (SGX-DT) previously.

PROFESSOR JENNIFER KOHPH.D BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT, UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH

Professor Koh has over 19 years of commercial experience across multi-national companies and small and medium-sized enterprises, spanning various sectors in manufacturing and service industries. Prior to this, Dr Koh was the Group Chief Financial Officer of JTC Corporation Ltd. Dr Koh holds a Ph.D., University of South Australia, and her experience encompasses financial accounting, corporate planning, information technology and human resources both domestic and in the Asia Pacific. She also serves as an Adjunct faculty of Singapore Management University where she was awarded the SMU Most Outstanding Adjunct Award for 2010.

PROFESSOR DAN LEVIN - PH.D IN BUSINESS AND APPLIED ECONOMICS AT THE WHARTON SCHOOL

Dr. Levin taught extensively in various international graduate schools including the Helsinki School of Economics and Business and Baruch College under City University of NY programme. Dr. Levin is an expert on the use and assessment of advanced technologies in various business and military applications. He was a board member in numerous companies and he is currently on the board of Polar Investments. Dr. Levin is also an international expert on the use and assessment of advanced financial technology in business and military applications with over 35 years of consultancy and advisory experience.

PROFESSOR LISE M SAARI - PH.D ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY, UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON

Dr Lise Saari is an adjunct professor of New York University in their graduate industrial/organizational psychology programs. Prior to joining NYU, Dr Saari was director of global workforce research at IBM in New York and London, senior manager of people research at the Boeing Company and research scientist at Battelle Research Institute. Dr Lise also taught at Richmond International University in London and University of Washington Graduate School of Business. She has served on the boards of the Society for Human Resource Management. Dr Saari is a member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and an elected member of the SIOP Executive Board. Dr Saari has over 100 publications and presentations and serves on a number of editorial boards.

PROFESSOR PATRICK CHAN - PH.D, NANYANG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, SINGAPORE

Dr Patrick Chan is a business professor with a rich entrepreneurial mind of a business owner of 3 businesses - a Management Consultant for Private Franchises; a Board Certified Financial Life Coach as well as an Author of 4 books covering the areas of personal financial planning and risk management. Dr Chan also had an impressive accomplishment in his 11 years of corporate career prior to his current academician career - the successful mergers and acquisitions of 2 financial services business. Dr Chan has also successfully published several books on personal financial planning, beyond blue ocean strategy and strategic leadership.

PROFESSOR RONNY MANOS, - PH.D FINANCE, UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM

Dr Ronny Manos is a professor of finance and has taught in the Department of Economics, in Loughborough University and Birmingham Business School. Dr Manos's main area of interest lies in company finance in emerging markets, international finance and microfinance. She was nominated in the finalists for the Haynes Prize for the Most Promising Scholar Award, Academy of International Business Annual Meeting 2005. Dr Manos published extensively in various international journals and publication where her work can be found in journals such as the Journal of Economics and Business and Advances in Financial Economics.

PROFESSOR ELY WEITZ - PH.D LABOR STUDIES, TEL AVIV UNIVERSITY, ISRAEL

Dr Ely Weitz holds a Ph.D. in Labor Studies from Tel Aviv University where he heads the department's Executive Master's Program in Labor Studies designed expressly for human resource practitioners. Dr Weitz has also served in the Israel Defense Forces (lieutenant colonel, retired) where he worked as an organizational consultant and did comprehensive work on organizational structure and design. Dr Weitz has also worked for Chemical Bank, NY, in their Human Resources Division. Dr Weitz has extensive research interests that include organization theory, management history, management and organization development, and misbehavior in organizations.

PROFESSOR FOO CHECK TECK - PH.D IN STRATEGY UNIVERSITY OF ST. ANDREWS, SCOTLAND

Professor Foo is the program director of the Financial Portfolio Engineering Program. Besides Singapore, he has lived in major cities in the world: London, New York and Tokyo and has lectured in many cities such as Vientiane, Laos, Umea, Sweden and Lhasa, Tibet. Straits Times chose him as Asia's Mover and Shaker and labelled him - Singapore's "Man of Renaissance". He has held many visiting professorships across Asia, Europe and America and continues to receive invitations. Most recently, Harvard University Kennedy School of Government invited him to co-chair a panel discussion. In his most recent work (US Journal of Risk Finance; Vol. 9(3), 292-302), he anticipated the current primal fear driven crisis. Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) in India also invited him to share his strategic analysis of General Motors (Analyst, August 2008). He has researched extensively on corporate productivity across referenced journals. His doctoral investigation into performances of ASEAN publicly listed corporations has also received global acclaim.

PROFESSOR HAYDEN NOEL - PH.D IN MARKETING, UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA

Hayden Noel earned his Ph.D in Marketing, majoring in Consumer Behavior from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 2002. Professor Noel's primary research interests include consumer information processing, consumer memory and the impact of culture on consumer behaviour. He has published several articles on related topics in academic journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and Psychology and Marketing. His research findings are made ‘required reading' in doctoral seminars on Consumer Behavior at several doctoral granting institutions including Columbia University in New York City. At present, he teaches Marketing Management in the MBA programme at the University of Illinois. His other corporate experience includes public relations and banking.

PROFESSOR SATHIAMOOTHY SHANKER - PH.D, UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE, UK

Professor Shanker is a Visiting Professor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was awarded the NTU Overseas Faculty Scholarship (1993) for Doctoral Research at the University of Cambridge and subsequently offered the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Fellowship to Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Professor Siva also possesses a wealth of consultancy experience through consultancy project on matters relating to the Investment Analysis and Valuation of applied research/proprietary manufacturing processes. He has successfully made recommendations on the investment potential of R&D activities in science and technology such as Investment Analysis and Valuation of Patents using Real Options Theory.
