Prof Foo is a Honorary Chair of Competitive Strategy, University of St Andrews. Dr Foo Check Teck is uniquely multi-disciplined. This is diversity is seen in his qualifications, working experience and research publications. Foo Check Teck began his career as an Adviser (employers’ organization), Manager (Legal and Personnel) of a Dutch bank, Project Manager of a German MNC and Assistant Director in a statutory board.  He has established a global reputation for research and consultancy. Recently he chaired a major session at INSEAD Euro-Asia Conference on Transformation in Asia and Singapore TDB’s New PRC Contract Law seminar. NTU has nominated Dr Foo Check Teck for the Asean Distinguished Professorship program. Early in his academic career Dr Foo Check Teck had made contributions to top journals such as British Journal of Industrial Relations, Organization Studies and OMEGA International Journal of Management Science  (productivity) and many journal publications and books including the 1990 prize-winning Productivity in Transition (McGraw-Hill). He had been retained as Strategy/Productivity Adviser and presented many highly successful workshops including the Maximizing  He had been invited to present at the forthcoming ASIA 2000 HRM Conference on the topic Technopreneurism and HRM. He is a winner (a Highly Commendable author) of the UK Literati Club’s Awards for Excellence 2000 for his research contribution to Corporate Communications: An International Journal. Organizations (including a statutory board) are beginning to seek intellectual licenses/endorsements from Dr Foo Check Teck (eg. on project evaluation and organizing strategy, Sun Tzu).
