Professor Foo Check Teck is uniquely multi-talented and multi-disciplined visionary, (Name: Man of Renaissance by Straits Times). His diversity is reflected in qualifications, working experience and his extensive yet multi-faceted research interest. Coupled with his years of industry experience in MNCs, Professor Foo has developed the unique ability to translate on over 2,500 years old “Art of War” stratagems into business strategies to unlock the potential in all business leaders.

Prof Foo’s credentials are impressive: Ph.D. (Strategy, St. Andrews), MBA in Finance (City University of London, postgraduate award winner), LLB (Hons, London), FCMA, FCIM, ACIS, Barrister-at-law, Advocate and Solicitor. His book Organizing Strategy: Sun Tzu Business Warcraft was chosen by Blackwell in Oxford as both Book-of-the-Month and Spring’s Choice. Reminiscences of an Ancient Strategist: Mind of Sun Tzu was widely praised and was recommended by the prestigious London World Review. BBC also featured him in its Global Finance program. His research on corporate identity strategy won him an excellence award from the UK Literati Club.

He is founding editor-in-chief of the international journal of Chinese Management Studi. He is also a Honorary Research Professor of International Business at Copenhagen Business College, Denmark, Visiting Professor of Technology Strategy with the New York Institute of Technology, US; a registered UN consultant, Coordinator for Asia for the International Center for Corporate Identity Studies based in Glasgow, UK. He was formerly an Honorary Senior Research Fellow in Strategic Management at Scotland’s oldest and most established university, the University of St. Andrews. The author of several award winning books on Sun Tzu Stratagems, Prof Foo have trained over thousands of professionals from both government and private industries throughout the Asia Pacific Region. As a much demanded leadership & strategy trainer, his unique and entertaining style of delivery has won him numerous rave reviews.

Professor Foo was invited to as act as reviewer for Sweden’s Knowledge Foundation and to be an expert on strategy for a US History Channel production on Sun Tzu Art of War. Last year he co-chaired at China Goes Global Conference at Harvard on the theme of China at crossroads. Recently he has begun to share his insights on investing via Pulses (SGX), Share Investor and on US Sub-prime in Journal of Risk Finance.
