GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY - AT A GLANCE

OVERVIEW

Organizational Psychology is the study of behaviour in work settings to promote productive worker attitudes and organizational culture. It focuses on the applications of psychological research and intervention strategies to improve organizational productivity, quality of life at work and promoting positive work attitudes & behaviour.

The Graduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology is designed to equip HR & industry practitioners with an effective knowledge of the use of organizational psychology applications across various industries. It is aimed at professionals who are either currently practising or wish to practise in the field of organisational psychology or organizational development. Upon completion of the course, graduates will be equipped with advanced skills and knowledge in analysis, strategy and implementation of organizational psychology within an organization.

The program aims to provide a comprehensive framework of the use of organizational psychology in human resource management challenges, consulting in business, education, and mental health, and leadership in organizations.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

This is a 6 months part-time program comprising of 4 modules. This program are tailored for working professionals and classes are conducted on weekdays evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm or over weekends 9am to 5pm. Each module is supported with 24 contact hours of face to face lectures which are conducted by our experienced faculty.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS

The Graduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology is awarded by Aventis School of Management. Graduates will be allowed to use the designatory letters "Grad Dip Organizational Psychology" after their name upon completion of the program.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

All applicants must possess:

  • A degree or similar professional qualifications from a recognized university/institution, OR
  • A diploma from a polytechnic with at least 3 years of working experience.
  • Senior executives with extensive experience but without academic qualification may be considered on a case to case basis.

  • Statement of Personal & Career Objectives
  • Application processing fee of S$107 (non-refundable)

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Participants may enrol and attend any of the modules for the acquisition of knowledge in a particular discipline. An executive certificate will be awarded for students that have fulfilled at least 80% attendance for that enrolled module.
  • For participants that have enrolled and attended any of the modules for the acquisition of knowledge in a particular discipline, they will be issued with an executive certificate if they fulfil at least 80% attendance.
